About Me

Hi! First I want to thank you for taking the time to read my blog. Being able to share what the Lord is teaching me in my life with people has always been something I wanted to do. I started this blog on a whim. It is not something I ever saw myself doing, but it just seemed right. You see, I have been learning a lot recently. And I want to share with y'all the lessons the Lord is teaching me each and everyday. In the end, I will share my everyday experiences that people might see that we are not alone, and that together as children of Christ we should walk the road to salvation. It isn't promised that it will be an easy road, no in fact, quite contrarily it is promised that we will face trials of many kinds. But there is one certainty in it all and that is God. I don't know about you, but as for me I choose to walk that road, whatever it may entail, knowing I am covered by grace.

For those interested, I will give you some more information about me personally below. My name is Clemmie Pierce and I'm a 19 year old freshman at the University of Texas. I grew up in Houston as the second oldest in a family of four.

Last summer, I joined my youth group as we traveled first on mission to Miami and next on an adventure trip to Glacier National Park in Montana. These trips served as catalysts for change in my life. Big things were happening in my heart, things I  never saw coming. The Lord really started to work within me.

I moved to Austin last August after graduating from the Kinkaid School in May, which has since been a whirlwind of new places, classes, friends, and experiences. My first week here I pledged Pi Phi and quickly found a group of girls striving for similar ends in their lives-- namely to walk with the Lord on a daily basis, and to find friends who supported and encouraged this endeavor. Being in a new city with new people hasn't been easy, but it has been one more step on a journey that I know will be so worth it. The Lord is working in awesome ways here in Austin, and I can't wait to see where He takes me in the next three years!
